These spring math activities offer students practice with solving addition problems involving regrouping, subtraction problems involving ungrouping, and multiplication and division math fact practice. There is also a partner activity in which students can practice solving word problems with a partner. There are two versions of the game, one with addition and subtraction and the other with multiplication and division. The game version is up to you, allowing you to tailor it to best fit your students' needs. These fun activities are perfect for stations, small group work, RTI, or even as a fun educational activity for a class party. The possibilities are plentiful!

Understand that in adding or subtracting three-digit numbers, one adds or subtracts hundreds and hundreds, tens and tens, ones and ones; and sometimes it is necessary to compose or decompose tens or hundreds.
Determine the unknown whole number in a multiplication or division equation relating three whole numbers. For example, determine the unknown number that makes the equation true in each of the equations 8 × ? = 48, 5 = __ ÷ 3, 6 × 6 = ?.
Understand division as an unknown-factor problem. For example, find 32 ÷ 8 by finding the number that makes 32 when multiplied by 8.
