Get your students excited about learning with a spring math craft, fun centers, & spring games! Take them on a colorful math adventure with hands-on rainbow activities and spring crafts that practice skills such as counting, addition to 10, addition to 20, subitizing, comparing numbers, and more.

Use these easy prep activities during your spring math centers or instruction and watch your students' math skills bloom!

You receive the following spring rainbow math activities (see the preview file for pictures of each):

  • Counting on a Rainbow Printable Page - Students love creating rainbows using colored cereal pieces, then counting & writing how many of each color they used! Fun practice for sorting, counting, one-to-one correspondence, writing numbers, and comparing numbers.
  • Counting on a Rainbow Digital Google Slides - An interactive, engaging digital version with movable pieces! Students create rainbows by dragging and dropping the correct number of virtual cereal pieces to each color.
  • Rainbow Math Craftivity - Students express their creativity while practicing addition! First, they craft a rainbow, then roll dice to see how many cereal pieces (or colored manipulatives) to place on each color! Extend the activity by prompting students to identify the total number of cereal pieces on the rainbow or to compare the quantities of different colors. (counting, addition, comparing numbers)
  • Rainbow Roll & Cover Games (2 Differentiated Versions) - This engaging game not only reinforces addition, counting, and number recognition but also encourages critical thinking as players strategically cover spaces on the rainbow game board. 2 differentiated versions included – practice addition with 2 dice or counting & subitizing with 1 die.
  • Differentiated Rainbow Addition Activity - Whether in whole-class instruction or small groups or centers, students will love using ten frames and colorful manipulatives to add the two numbers from the rainbow, and then write the addition equation. Choose to use the no-prep digital rainbows or the printable rainbow cards for this engaging spring addition activity.

Teaching math has never been so much fun! Get ready to celebrate the spring season while reinforcing essential math skills!

Anything with food is always a win with the kiddos! This was a cute craft to practice counting. I used one of the rainbow sheets, cut off the bottom part, and we colored each strip individually. A blank page of the rainbow strips would've been easier but overall a cute craft with many extras!
