Introduce multiplication using this set of equal groups task cards. This spring-themed matching activity is the perfect addition to your math center activities! Each task card features a flower pot with equal groups of different spring-themed items. Students will determine which multiplication equation or equal groups phrase is depicted and find the task card that matches their answer. These equal groups task cards would work great for math test prep, math centers, or partner activities!
You can easily differentiate your math groups with TWO sets of equal groups task cards. Inside you'll find equal groups matching cards and multiplication sentence matching cards.
To prep these centers, simply print each page (6 cards on each page), cut, and laminate for durability. Students can record the time on their response sheet.

- 3.OA.A.3 - Use multiplication and division within 100 to solve word problems in situations involving equal groups, arrays, and measurement quantities, e.g., by using drawings and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.
