Description

This activity I made to help my students with not only their number sense, but addition and subtraction as well. It's a great tool to use to really have the kiddos think in terms of increasing by 10 or 100, and decreasing a number by 10 or 100. I have included 4 different worksheets...2 of which only has the kiddos thinking about "10 more" or "10 less" with 2 digit numbers; then 2 others worksheets that has the kiddos thinking about "10 more", "100 more", "10 less", "100 less" with 3 digit numbers. I also thought about the challenging and critical thinking task of finding 10 less when there is a 0 in the tens place (such as: 405). These worksheets you can utilize easily when differentiating, whether it be: whole group, small group, or independently depending on the needs of your kids. Hope you enjoy!!

This was just what I was looking for so my 2nd graders could get just a little more practice with 100 more and 100 less before we begin 3-digit subtraction! Thank you so much :)
