Description
These Spring picture prompt materials can be used for writing centers, writer’s workshop, morning work, or as an assessment tool. The picture prompts will support students who are hesitant or struggling writers by providing them with a visual topic and vocabulary.
These materials could also be used when teaching students how to write to a prompt or during independent writing where students choose the topic or picture they want to write about.
Building writing stamina is important with young learners! These materials allow students to move beyond drawings and into developing stories and writing more descriptively about a topic.
These materials can be used for narrative, informative, or opinion writing in the primary grades.
I recommend that you run the prompts on cardstock and then laminate them for durability. If you prefer, the prompts could also be slipped to a heavy-duty paper protector.
Included in this set:
**8 Color Picture Prompts
**5 Spring black and white picture stationary designs
**3 different sizes of writing lines
