Description
The ten poems in this Spring Poems packet were written by my first grade colleague and me. We use them for our Poem of the Week selections, working with one poem each week on early reading skills (rhyming, plurals, action words, contractions, sight words, anything that matches our curriculum at any given point in time). THIS POEM PACKET WILL TAKE YOU UP TO THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR AND INCLUDES SOME SUMMER POEMS, TOO.
Titles in this packet include –
Spring is Here!
A Rainbow of Spring
What Can I Measure?
My Mom
Look on the Map
Our Garden
Animals
My Dad
Summer is Here!
The End
Feel free to import these into a Smartboard lesson (we use them that way!) or print them individually or as a booklet.
If you find them useful, let me know. Feedback is so helpful, and earns you credits, too! Visit my store for Fall Poems and Winter Poems!
Thanks to Pink Cat Studio (www.pinkcatstudio.com) for the awesome star frames!
