Description

This is a Revised and Updated ELA Common Core Poetry Unit for Spring. Students will learn about Springtime through poems, chants, plays, and writing activities. There are 6 original poems, a play, and Readers Theater. Students will learn different forms of poetry and write poems as well as an opinion piece and informative text about Spring. Each writing or literacy activity is differentiated at the 1st and 2nd grade levels. CCSS and Lesson plans are included.
