Description
This is a fun poem about what people like to do when it rains. Brainstorm with your students about what they like to do when it rains. Make a class list on the board. Read the poem. Talk about the activities in the poem and add them to you list. Teach the poem. When students have learned it they can add actions to it. Then they can draw and write about what they like to do when it rains. This poem is part of my "April Showers Bring Rain Poems" packet. See below. Hope you will leave feedback. Thank you.

This is a great resource to use during our writing block in the Spring.
A valuable resource for my kindergarten students. Thank you!
I used this as a opinion writing piece for my second graders. Some students made good arguments on why they don't like rainy days and some wrote why they love rainy days.
Great resource. Thank you for allowing us to use it.
Great!
Great poems to use for my spring unit.
A great addition to our Poem Books :-)
My students were completely engaged during these activities. The prep was quick and easy for me! A Perfect resource! Thank you!
