Description

This is a fun, hands-on activity that combines multiple disciplines. Students will use their engineering skills to create a design that will keep their egg intact..but there's a twist. They will use their addition and multiplication skills to make sure the materials they purchase stays within their budget.

It also comes with a letter to them from their egg, which reviews the key concepts introduced by the teacher. This letter can be used to complete the Vocabulary Match activity.

Last of all, there is a graphing activity for students to show how many successful egg drops there were.

This includes:
* Detailed Teacher's Guide : explains key concepts and outlines how to introduce the activities.
* STEM Activity Sheet: used by students to draw their design and ensure they stay within budget.
* "Letter from Your Egg" : reviews key concepts introduced by the teacher and reinforces vocabulary.
* Vocabulary Match & Graphing Activity: to be used with "Letter from Your Egg" to reinforce scientific vocabulary, and to exercise graphing skills.
* Think Like an Engineer Graphic: to show students that Engineering is a process.

Awesome! When we did ours I put the eggs in small snack size zip lock bags to contain the mess. Or you can also soft boil them so they aren’t as messy. Have fun!!
