Spring Spelling Papers and Bingo Board
This is great way to encourage your students to practice reading and writing their spelling words.
On Day 1 they write the Phonics Focus of the week (for ex. er, ir, and ur) in the top row. Then they write their spelling words in the spaces below.
On Day 2 they sort the words according to their spelling pattern by outlining the clover in different colors. For example, all -er words in yellow and -ir words in blue.
On Day 4 Before the test we use this sheet to play Bingo. They can win by having 4 in a row horizontally or 3 in a row vertically.
My students love it and I'm sure yours will too!
