Description
This spring story problem book gives your mathematicians a chance to read a story problem, draw a picture to solve, and record their answer. There are illustrations on each page that students can color when they are done.
This book is in black and white, so it's copier friendly. There are 15 addition and subtraction story problems in all, and I usually only choose a handful to copy at once so as to not overwhelm my kiddos! All word problems have to do with spring or warm weather activities, such as celebrating Earth Day, planting flowers, or rainy weather.

Great for Sub Days
Met expectations
Great value
I left this resource with a substitute and she reported that students did well with this activity and were very engaged.
I used this for when I was out with a sub. I found it very easy for the sub to use while still giving students extra practice with those always tricky story problems.
My students and I love using this resource in the classroom!
Thank you!
My kids are challenged and engaged with these!
Great resource! Thank you!
Wonderful!
