Description
Great activity to practice using a ten frame as part of a spring theme unit--count flowers, frogs, chicks, snails and turtles. Cut apart each frame and laminate for durability. Students count the number of items in the frame and match it to the correct number card or to another frame with the same number of items. Can be used as a sorting activity or to compare quantities of items (more/less). This activity is easily differentiated by including or removing the larger quantities.
This activity can be used for teaching use of the ten frame. Can be done with students, used as a center or partner activity, or given to students to work on independently.
