Description
I created this Spring project for the month of April to extend the regular curriculum and provide an additional challenge for 2nd grade students who need more. Many of the problems are at a 3rd grade level. However, I found 2nd graders LOVE coordinate graphing so there is a set of equations to accompany a coordinate graphing activity.
This project is meant to be challenging. I have done it with 2nd grade students. Although I believe all 2nd graders could do it with scaffolding and support, your higher 2nd graders should be able to work through the problems more independently. If you choose to send it home as a challenge packet, I’ve also included a parent letter at the end to give parents tips on how to help their child.
Be sure to check out my other resources on TPT.
