Description

This is a Spring themed ten frame resource that includes icons/counters. Use this for your primary centers or special education classroom in the months of March and April to practice one-to-one correspondence, counting on, etc.

I also like to use ten frames in my upper elementary class as a whole-class behavior incentive tracker. Each time the class meets a whole-class expectation (for example, lining up quickly and quietly or a class compliment from the PE teacher), place one of the counters into the ten frame. The class earns a reward when the ten frame is filled.

There are 5 pages to choose from in this resource, including lady bugs, rainbows, butterflies, and more. Print and cut out the icons separately from the ten frame, laminate all pieces, and add velcro dots for easy application and removal. You could even add magnet dots to stick the counters onto your white board.
