Students will use these activity cards and square, one inch tiles math manipulatives to practice composing shapes while building fine motor and spatial awareness skills. Students can either build the design with the one inch tiles right on the mat or on the blank grid provided. These cards would be perfect as a math center, for partner work, or in a small group setting. You could also use them in math tubs or morning tubs. I recommend printing on card stock and laminating for durability.

Three different activities included:

• 12 mosaic design cards
• 12 picture design cards
• 20 composing shapes task cards

Also included:

• blank grid- Students can use to build designs or pictures from the task cards or they can create their own designs! You could also photocopy these and have students color them to record designs they've created.
• Printable square inch tiles. If you don't have an existing set of these math manipulatives, just print these pages on card stock, laminate, and cut!
