In this resource are three lessons: Simplifying Radicals, Adding & Subtracting Radicals and Multiplying Radicals. All lessons follow the editable PowerPoint and have extra practice problems that can be used for more guided practice, independent practice, and/or mini assessments.
Lesson 1: There are four examples of simplifying square root expressions and four examples of simplifying cube root expressions. At the end of the PowerPoint, there are also six extra practice problems.
Lesson 2: There are six example problems where students will need to add/subtract radical expressions, two of which are perimeter applications. There are three additional practice problems at the end of this section in the PowerPoint.
Lesson 3: There are five example problems where students will need to multiply radical expressions, one of which is an area application. There are three additional practice problems at the end of this section in the PowerPoint.
I recommend splitting these lessons over the course of three or more days.
