Description
This concise, to the point and no-prep square roots lesson is a great way to teach & introduce perfect squares and estimating square roots to your students. The beginning of the guided notes go over perfect squares, squaring a number, taking the square root of a number, and estimating non-perfect squares. There are 8 examples over estimating and applying square roots. There are examples with square shapes, number lines, and evaluating expressions that include square roots. Students and teachers love how easy these notes are to follow and understand.
These notes get straight to the point of the skill being taught, which I have found is imperative for the attention span of middle schoolers! They are also a great tool for students to refer back to.
