Description
This resource is a set of 4 worksheets with a St. Patrick's Day theme! All of the word problems relate to the holiday in some way (i.e. parades, shamrocks, corned beef, green, etc.). I use these worksheets as part of station work on or around St. Patrick's Day as a way to review the past few units covered in my class. The concepts covered on the sheets are:
- part-to-part v. part-to-whole ratios
- scaling up and down
- converting fractions, decimals, and percents
- solving percent word problems
- determining the best deal using unit cost
- converting between two units, given the conversion rate
These worksheets were created in Google Slides, so they are totally editable for you! Swap out questions or skills that have not yet been taught in your class as needed!
Suggestions for Use:
- Pair these worksheets with a couple other activities to make a set of 6 stations.
- Make 8 stations out of the 4 worksheets so that each group only goes to 4 of the 8 stations (this is what I did most recently!).
- Do just one worksheet per day leading up to St. Patrick's Day as a little review or practice each day.
