Engage your students this St. Patrick's Day with this multi-step word problem math craft activity. Your kids will love creating Louie the Leprechaun. Louie gives them 7 math riddles that they must solve in order to receive the pot of gold. Your students will have so much fun with this activity they won't realize just how much math they are doing! This packet includes 4 different levels of word problems that are perfect for 2nd - 5th grade students. Choose the level that is perfect for your class or easily differentiate for the needs of each student. Students are asked to color, and then cut Louie the Leprechaun and all of the problems out. They will then paste, tape, or staple the entire problem together to make a fun Saint Patrick's Day decoration for your classroom.
