Over 16 years of experience in education fuels my passion for creating engaging and effective resources for teachers. For 14 years, I've fostered a love of learning in kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms, and more recently, I've spent the last year supporting students in grades K-2 as an interventionist.
Sharing best practices is a vital part of my professional journey. I've presented nationally at teacher conferences for over 10 years, including a keynote address. My presentations dive into a wide range of topics, including math intervention strategies, small group instruction in math, developing strong number sense, counting activities, fostering independent writing, the Science of Reading in literacy centers and small groups, integrating technology in the classroom, and the power of read-alouds.
