Description

Are you looking for a St. Patrick’s Day math activity to get your students counting or making sets of ten? These shamrock backed 10 frames will have your students counting and making sets of 10 like magic. They will LOVE the St. Patrick’s Day theme.

More about this resource!

  • low prep- print, cut, laminate if desired, and use
  • 2 ways to use- count the amount in the ten frame and how many more until you get to 10

Ways to Use this Resource

  • math center
  • whole group activity
  • Walk Around the Room- My students loved when I would hang the pictures up around the room and they would walk from card to card answering the question on the recording sheet

This resource is perfect for whole group practice or math centers Kindergarten classroom.

There is light prep involved but can be used year after year. All you need to do is print, cut, laminate (if desired) and display. My students love to do this activity as a Walk Around the Room so I tape the pictures in different spots around the room. Having students up and walking around the room helps them stay focused AND get some movement.
