Description

STACK IT! is a STEM challenge activity where the only materials you need are cups and task cards! It can be completed individually or in cooperative groups! Critical thinking skills will be put to use while student's "stack" cups to see if they can recreate the towers on each challenge card.

You can store the task cards with the challenge cards in a pencil box for easy grab and go! Student’s can use the task cards along with cups during their morning work time, independent learning time, or even during indoor recess!

There are 3 different levels of difficulty as well as 12 challenge cards that can be completed individually or with a partner.

Stack It Up! Is a fun cooperative learning game that ties in numeracy as well as communication and critical thinking skills. Each player rolls a dice to determine the number of cups they may grab during their turn. They try to build a tower that is the tallest and be the last tower standing!

Also included is a pencil box cover to print and add to the top of a pencil box for storage and accessibility!

We used the Stack It! Cup Stacking Task Cards and Game as a field day activity, and it was a huge hit! The cards added an exciting challenge that kept the kids engaged and moving. My students absolutely loved this cup stacking activity! The task cards made it easy for them to follow directions independently while working on coordination, focus, and motor planning. It was the perfect mix of fun and skill-building—great for brain breaks, indoor recess, or centers.
