"This was a great addition to our unit about the Revolutionary War. My students really enjoyed the information about the Stamp Act."

Description

This simulation is awesome. Teach kids about the benefit of uniting together for a common cause "peacefully." Teach them about ways of standing up for their rights. This activity will enhance their learning experience outside of the classroom.

Your students will learn that there is strength when they are united, they are going to learn correct ways of protesting (Petitions, Peaceful Protests, Etc.). They are going to value one another's opinion. See what they can come up with. Collaborate with your grade level. I have included color posters that you can use to post outside of your classroom and they are editable.

I liked the idea of this resource, but it was more complicated to manage. Next time I implement this activity, I'll plan farther in advance because kids really were engaged. It just required more effort and planning than I had anticipated. The kids loved it though, so it's absolutely worth doing!
