This was a veyr nice resource very well done but way to easy .
Great resource to help statistics students get a better understanding of standard deviation.
This context was a great introduction to standard deviation in my Algebra 2 classes. Students were able to make sense of center and variation while comparing dog heights. We also entered the data into the calculator to get familiar with the keystrokes. The problem was a continued reference as we introduced vocabulary and progressed through the unit.
Use this with my honors as a bonus unit that we made to for the first time this year. Fun scenarios to use as examples.
My students enjoyed this lesson. We had a little difficulty reading the pictographs. I would prefer a bar graph.
