Guided notes, practice, lessons, exit tickets, assignment, worksheet, quiz, review. Five resources that will help you teach standard form of linear equations to your students.  Two methods are shown, finding the x and y intercepts and putting the equation into slope-intercept form.

Included:

Guided Notes - Editable Google Doc

  • Work along with your students filling in the notes. 

  • My students have an easier time staying on track when I use guided notes.  

  • There are examples to work out together, and also practice problems for the students to do independently.  

  • Examples involve a variety of types of numbers, it is a great lesson to review integer and fraction operations with.  

Google Slides of the Guided Notes

Google Form

  • Short Assessment
  • 3 Questions

Exit Ticket

  • Students show their understanding of the lesson by completing the Exit Ticket.  

  • Connections are made between the graph and the slope.

Practice Assignment - Editable Google Doc

  • Eight problems for the students to practice independently. 

Answer keys included!
