Description

This printable resource is an editable standardized testing motivational student checklist for language arts and math.

  1. Copy these checklists onto a different color paper for each day of testing
  2. Cut in half
  3. Give to students before the test and review with them the checklist so they can be reminded what they need to do to feel successful on this test
  4. After the testing period is over, I have students reflect on how they think they did towards each part of the checklist.
  5. If there was an issue, for example, shouting out during the test, I am able to use the checklist to give the student direct feedback

This allows students to own their test-taking and feel empowered to do their personal best.
