Using the Marzano Taxonomy, I have aligned the performance indicators found in the Maine Department of Education's Sample Graduation Standards (based on the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards) to the levels of higher-order thinking (complexity) in the taxonomy.
This tool is incredibly helpful for me and the teachers I work with in accurately aligning standards, curriculum, assessment, and instruction.
