Description

This colorful and detailed PowerPoint has two parts: the characteristics of stars and the life cycles of stars.

It begins with the characteristics of stars including, temperature, size, distance from earth, magnitude and nuclear fusion. It also discusses the star classification chart.

The second portion of the PPT discusses how stars are “born” in a nebula and how they “die”. During the death of the star, it distinguishes between the death of a dwarf star compared to the death of a massive star or the death of a supermassive star.

The death of a supermassive star results in a black hole. Black holes have two parts: event horizon and singularity.
