The Tour the Town STEM Challenge and Coding Project is a resource that can be used with a variety of programmable robots. This can be used anytime of year. The project enables students to collaborate and plan a group project while working independently on individual research and their individual project part.
Tour the Town STEM Challenge Coding Project: Students research tourist locations (for states) to complete Tourism Information & Coding Task Cards and design and plan a Tourism Map for tourists to visit using the planning pages and checklist. Tourist visit the Tourism maps to learn about attractions and complete the coding tasks along the way. This engaging lesson will keep students busy and engaged. This can be used anytime of the year. Links and QR Codes included for all 50 states.
