Description
Motivating video for high school physics students to gain problem solving experience in Beginning Dynamics, in the study of Static Equilibrium. This video shows 14 original and carefully designed problems, and their detailed solutions, in high quality MP4 video format, which can provide about one hour of problem-solving practice.
After each exercise is presented to the students as a multiple-choice question, the video needs to be paused for about two minutes, to give time to the students to solve the problem on their own. Afterwards, the video will display the correct answer and also the detailed step-by-step solution, enabling the students to examine the work they did and compare it with the one displayed. This is a good opportunity to practice cooperative learning in the classroom.
This video does a great job in keeping the students working diligently to the last problem. It can become another motivating learning tool. Using this physics video in a computer lab or in a digital projector with an entire class, could be a very positive experience, as other teachers have discovered.
We highly recommend the use of the VLC Media Player to play the mp4 video. VLC is an excellent media player, and it is free. In addition, VLC runs on all versions of Windows, from Windows XP SP3 to the last version of Windows 11. The link to download VLC is https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html.
Please watch the preview video about 10 original exercises in Newton's Laws. It shows the format, style, and the quality of the physics problems and step-by-step solutions you will find in every physics video exam-tutorial we designed. The price of all MP4 videos has been greatly reduced.
