This bell ringer, stations activity for the scientific method was created to supplement a lesson I run for all my science courses to jumpstart critical science skills that my students will need all year long. This activity includes eight different stations which covers concepts such as: steps in the scientific method, types of variables (independent dependent, controlled), types of groups (experimental, control), types of data (qualitative, quantitative), inferencing and there are also scenario questions to have students apply their learning.
