Description
Here is a hands-on, physical opportunity for students to practice maximum, minimum, range, mode, median and mean! Students will jog as many laps as they can in ten minutes and then utilize this data in cooperative groups to determine statistical data. Opportunity to interpret data from least to greatest and with visual bar graphs are also included. This activity also includes opportunity to write statements about data. The format of this activity follows Statistical Data with M&M's, also available in my store! Hope your students have fun as they learn!

For example, “How old am I?” is not a statistical question, but “How old are the students in my school?” is a statistical question because one anticipates variability in students’ ages.
