This is the 13th lesson of my introductory statistics course and the 1st lesson in Unit 4.

Students will:

-Be introduced to key vocabulary

-Distinguish between discrete and continuous variables

-Construct a discrete probability distribution

-Determine if a distribution is a legitimate probability distribution

-Find the mean, variance, and standard deviation of a discrete probability

distribution

-Find the expected value of a discrete probability distribution
