Description
Hi Everyone!
In this project, students will be able to:
- Create a survey question.
- Poll 50 students.
- Organize data into tables and graphs.
- Find the mean, median, mode, and range of their data.
- Find the probability of each event occurring.
- Explain their survey process and results.
In the zip file that you downloaded, you will find three copies of the Statistics & Probability Project:
- Rough Draft (Paper Copy)
- Final Draft (Paper Copy)
- Google Doc Copy
The first two are the copies that I have used in previous years of teaching and the Google Doc is the one that I have been using this year. My school site has gone 1:1 with Chromeboooks, so our Statistics Project became digital this year.
With the paper copies, I gave my students the rough draft copy to gather their information and organize their project. They were given the final draft near the end of the project, in which they pretty much just copied the information over. With the digital copy, I created this as a Google Doc and shared it with my students. The students completed their entire project on the Google Classroom and I taught them how to input graphs into the project through Google Sheets.
I have left all of these in Microsoft Word so that you may edit, if needed.
Enjoy!

Fun project!
The project is well organized, and my students enjoyed it.
Great resource!
This was a great project to use with my students. I loved how it was online, and I was able to edit it to meet the needs of my students.
Everything I needed for this topic
perfect for what I needed it for!
I used this as an alternative assessment in Algebra 2 and I think the students learned more from this than they would a test.
Was a great resource in my classroom! The students loved working with the product!
