Description

This project can be used as a Unit 1 project for either a regular or an AP Stats course.

It should take (at least 2) periods to complete. This is at the discretion of the teacher.

Basic Activity Outline:

In this project students will begin with a worksheet.

The sheet includes:

*4 topics

*4 (2x4 tables)

Students are to fill in 2 data sets for each level of measurement (Nominal, Ordinal, Interval, Ratio)

Upon completion of the worksheet students will:

*Form groups

*Select Topics

*Create a presentation about a topic of their choice

*For the chosen topic students will have to create 2 data sets for each level of measurement.

*Students will then give the presentation to the class.
