Description

Help students learn the difference between a “stop” choice and a “go” choice with this visual, hands-on SEL pack. Stop & Go Choices builds self regulation, impulse control, and responsible decision making through clear posters, a step-by-step decision tree, puzzle sorts, a file folder game, and real-life scenario cards.

Use it for whole group lessons, small groups, individual counseling, morning meeting, centers, RTI Tier 1 and Tier 2, PBIS routines, or your calm down corner.

Why educators love it:

  • Clear visuals and simple language increase independence and follow-through.
  • Repetition and sorting improve carryover into daily routines and transitions.
  • Scenario cards connect social skills to real classroom and home situations.
  • The decision tree gives students a concrete script for “pause, think, choose.”

  • Red Light Green Light Game
  • 5 Puzzle Sort Cut & Glue Activities
  • File-folder game (cover, inside layout, back cover, game pieces, dice)

This lesson is very well-thought out. I have used it in individual counseling; though I can see myself using it with a small group in the future. I like the layout and set up for the game and think it is appealing to the students who would need to use this resource the most. Would definitely buy more resources like this in the future!
