Description

This visual can be printed 2-sided to create one simple visual that can be used in a variety of ways and flipped over to switch from 'Stop' to 'Go' quickly and easily. Some of the ways I have used this with my students include:

S-Safety (to clearly mark areas of the classroom or school building that are off limits to students)

T-Transition (flip to 'go' side when it is time to transition within the classroom or building. Keep 'stop' side visible when it is not yet time to change activities or environments)

O-Opportunity (keep the 'stop' side visible when it is no time to ask a questions, talk about a preferred topic, produce scripted or stimming type vocalizations and the 'go' side visible when it is an appropriate time or opportunity to engage in a specific behavior you may be trying to decrease or limit

P-Play (Use to teach common games that involve social interaction such as tag, musical chairs, red light/green light etc. or when building play skills with a specific toy such as cars, bouncy ball, or spin top)
