This is the story elements graphic organizer. Students can write or draw the characters, setting, problem and solution of stories they read. Each element is color coded so students can underline these elements in the story to help them fill out the graphic organizer. There are visual cues on some graphic organizers for students that can use visual reminders.

These can be used in the classroom or at home when reading any time to deepen students understanding of a story.
