This powerpoint presentation was designed to get students to think about the idea of fossils and organisms from the past having structures that were used for survival, growth, and reproduction. It is building up to the phenomenons that organisms from the past and present have structures and functions needed for survival, growth, and reproduction. This powerpoint allows students to have evidence and visuals when constructing an argument (according to the NGSS) about structure and functions.
