These slips and rubric were designed to be used during student-led guided reading groups, book clubs or reading groups. Students need to be held accountable for their participation during groups and let’s face it... we can’t be present every second of every group.
To complete, students look at the group rubric and decide what score is appropriate for their group members. They will need to write their name on the top line and rate themselves, before listing group members names an rating them.
There is also a group tracking sheet so you can record scores for students throughout the week.
