Description
After an assignment such as classwork, a quiz, or a test, students can go back to their work an reflect on their performance. First, they will go through and look at any questions they missed. They need to understand whether they missed the question because of a simple mistake (like a calculation error or they read the question incorrectly), or if they did not understand the concept. After they have completed their error analysis with the tally marks, then they record the question numbers they would like specific clarification for from the teacher, or even a classmate. Next, they have the opportunity to retry up to three problems that they considered "simple mistakes". They can earn back credit for fixing those errors correctly. Finally, they reflect on their overall performance with a written explanation. What are they proud of, what would they like to do better with next time, etc.
