Description
Do you have a student that may need a little extra incentivizing or token board to help keep their behavior on track? I worked closely with my school district's behavior coaches to implement this class management system in my classroom for severe behaviors and I've had great success!
How do I use this resource in my classroom?
Each time my student does something “check-mark worthy” (unpacks quickly and quietly, transitions quickly and quietly, completes an assignment, etc) then I would give them a check mark on their chart with a dry erase marker. Once they fill up all 5 check marks, they immediately get to begin the timer for the reward that they picked out from their stack of reward cards. When the timer runs out, if the student cleans up their reward and gets back to work, I erase the chart and automatically give them a check mark for complying and getting back on track. Please note that this resource is designed for students with more severe behavior issues.
How do I prep this resource?
I print out the "check-mark chart" card, laminate it, and place it in the corner of the student's desk. Then I print, cut, and laminate each reward card and place a velcro dot on the back of each one, as well as a velcro dot on the check-mark chart card.
What's included?
-Editable PowerPoint with check-mark chart card (2 two a page) and 10 mini pre-made reward cards (rewards are: Legos, blocks, animals, Magnatiles, Playdoh, candy, fuzzy friend, mini erasers, treasure box, iPad)
*Please note that you must have Microsoft PowerPoint installed to edit this resource*
