This tool allows students to assess their comfortability with content and provide you a visual of their progress or their need for assistance. There are a few versions provided. Print them on different colored paper so you can identify from across the room.
This has helped my teaching tremendously. I stop and ask the students to assess what card the would like to display and in a minute I know which children I have to reteach or if I should stop the lesson and clarify.
