Description

This is an editable bundle of student data trackers. There is a tracker for each 4th grade math standard broken up into units. The standards are written in "I can" statements. Each page has:

- A place to track the percent of the pre-test and post-test to see improvement.

- A table with all of the standards taught in that unit with a place for the students to track mastery on a 4 point scale. There also is a definition for what the 1,2,3,and 4 mean.

- A place for the students to make a goal for the unit based on the feedback from the pre-test. They will explain a goal and how they are to accomplish the goal.

I have my students track the mastery of each standard from the pre-test and then change their mastery of the standard as they learn and take quizzes. This way they also can see their progress throughout the unit.

Here are the names of the individual math units:

-Place Value

-Addition and Subtraction

-Basic Multiplication and Division

-Greater Multiplication

-Greater Division

-Algebra

-Fractions

-Operations with Fractions

-Fractions and Decimals

-Geometry

-Measurement

This is a great resource to put into a student data binder or to glue into an interactive math journal. This is also a helpful resource for standard based grading. It prints great in color and in gray scale.

I am in the process of creating assessments that follow these data trackers. They go hand in hand with each other, and it makes it easier for the students to truly see how they are doing on each standard. Here is what I have finished so far:

Place Value Pre/Post Assessment

Addition and Subtraction Pre/Post Assessment

4th Grade Pre/Post Assessment: Basic Multiplication & Division *Editable*

Greater Multiplication Pre/Post Assessment

4th Grade Pre/Post assessment: Fractions 4.NF.1 ; 4.NF.2 ; 4.NF.3

4th Grade Pre/Post Assessment: Operations with Fractions *EDITABLE*

This is very helpful. You can mark standards that have been met for each student. It helps when lesson planning and connecting to the standards.

Know relative sizes of measurement units within one system of units including km, m, cm; kg, g; lb, oz.; l, ml; hr, min, sec. Within a single system of measurement, express measurements in a larger unit in terms of a smaller unit. Record measurement equivalents in a two-column table. For example, know that 1 ft is 12 times as long as 1 in. Express the length of a 4 ft snake as 48 in. Generate a conversion table for feet and inches listing the number pairs (1, 12), (2, 24), (3, 36),...
Use the four operations to solve word problems involving distances, intervals of time, liquid volumes, masses of objects, and money, including problems involving simple fractions or decimals, and problems that require expressing measurements given in a larger unit in terms of a smaller unit. Represent measurement quantities using diagrams such as number line diagrams that feature a measurement scale.
Apply the area and perimeter formulas for rectangles in real world and mathematical problems. For example, find the width of a rectangular room given the area of the flooring and the length, by viewing the area formula as a multiplication equation with an unknown factor.
