Description

As more and more classrooms go 1:1 with technology, it’s important to address the responsibility in keeping their devices safe. This contract works like a rental car agreement and holds students accountable for damage. It is up to you what consequences you might choose based on your classroom management system.

Four versions included: One is for Chromebooks (color and black & white), the other is more generic for devices (color and black & white), which can be used for laptops, iPads, or other digital devices. All versions are available as a PDF and on Google Slides as an editable digital option. There is also an editable contract so that you can customize the rules you want your students to follow.

Includes:

- Instructions

- Contract

- Editable Contract Page

- Quarterly Check-In

- Pictures of a laptop & tablet to mark down any damage

- Master List to track Chromebooks OR a Device

- Labels for devices

This resource is great! A wonderful starting point BEFORE using personal devices at school. Great review for the beginning of the year to discuss how we use devices at school and what they are for. We had a great discussion about digital citizenship as well. Easy to use just print and go. I especially like the quarterly check-up on devices.
