These logs are perfect for increasing student ownership and makes a quick formative assessment each day! I have my students use these for math lessons, but they could be used for any subject. As I introduce our learning target and success criteria I have students write down what they will be learning about. At the end of the lesson, students reflect on one thing they have learned and give a 1,2,3 self-reflection on their progress towards the learning target. I hope this helps you and your students!
