Help your students reach their potential by creating their performance goals. I've seen increased student success when I've used this in my performance classes. Students can write their goals based on a self-assessment or feedback from a pre-assessment. Pre-assessments can include solo performances at the beginning of the course or solo performances from state competitions. Goals can be generated specifically based on units of study like Shakespeare or Vocal Performance. This goal sheet includes two student goals & one teacher goal. It also has an example written for them.
