Description

These strategy binders were the #1 biggest game changer in my classroom when it came to student autonomy & extra help!

Designed specifically for elementary math (grades 3-5). These binders contain anchor charts, that give a quick snapshot of a skill, and even walk through step-by-step how to solve problems.

WATCH THE VIDEO PREVIEW FOR AN IN-DEPTH TOUR OF THE BINDERS!

Ideas for how to implement in your classroom:

  • print enough for your small group table
  • print a class set, and each student grabs one on the way into class
  • give students with IEP accommodations their own binder!
  • When students get "stuck," they must use the binder BEFORE they ask the teacher for help! This cut down on the amount of questions I got, and I didn't feel like I was being pulled in 25 different directions every time it was time for independent math work!!

Your purchase includes the following anchor charts...

  1. Front Cover
  2. Table of Contents
  3. Place Value
  4. Powers of 10
  5. Comparing Numbers
  6. Ordering Numbers
  7. Rounding Whole Numbers
  8. Order of Operations (PEMDAS)
  9. Standard Algorithm Multiplication
  10. Long Division
  11. Adding Fractions
  12. Adding Mixed Numbers
  13. Subtracting Fractions
  14. Subtracting Mixed Numbers
  15. Multiplying Fractions
  16. Multiplying Mixed Numbers
  17. Dividing Fractions
  18. Dividing Mixed Numbers
  19. Decimal Place Value
  20. Rounding Decimals
  21. Comparing/Ordering Decimals
  22. Adding Decimals
  23. Subtracting Decimals
  24. Multiplying Decimals
  25. Dividing Decimals
  26. Word Problems
  27. Measurement Conversion
  28. Line Plots
  29. Coordinate Plane
  30. Geometry
  31. Volume of Solids
  32. Volume of Irregular Figures
  33. Algebra & Expressions
  34. Multiplication Chart (I like putting it in the back cover!)

*HOW TO PREP THESE FOR YOUR CLASSROOM*

  • Print front covers separately
  • Print double sided, full color the remainder of the anchor charts
  • You can *either* 3 hole punch and put into binders, OR my perferred way is to put them into sheet protectors to keep them safe (its more durable this way)
  • & you're done! These will last for years in your classroom!

I make resource binders for my students so they have all their tools in one spot for their accommodations. The students loved the colors of the resources and makes it easy to navigate through them to know which one to use.

I recently purchased several math resources for my 6th grade classroom, and I couldn’t be more pleased with their quality and effectiveness. The materials are well-organized, engaging, and perfectly aligned with grade-level standards. My students especially enjoyed the interactive activities and real-world applications. These resources have truly helped reinforce key concepts and build confidence in math. I’ve seen noticeable improvement in both participation and understanding. Thank you to the author for creating such thoughtful, teacher-friendly materials that make a real difference in the classroom. Your hard work is truly appreciated!

Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l). Add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as a beaker with a measurement scale) to represent the problem.
Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
