I use a chart like this in my diary to track students' completion of homework tasks and extension tasks, their participation in class discussions, etc. I often print one out that is enlarged so that they can put stickers up themselves and see their progress as a class as well as see their individual progress. I keep one in my diary that I just tick as I go. I find that it's great to bring to parent teacher interviews as evidence of how a child is doing.
