I’ve often heard fellow teachers in person and online talk about how StudySync is too much. It is a lot! The purpose of this guide is to introduce you to each section of StudySync so that you are more equipped to implement StudySync in your own classrooms. The pacing guide is for the Grade 8 Study Sync Unit 2 material entitled Past and Present. There are two options for teaching each unit: a traditional every day class (~60 minutes) and a block schedule (~80 minutes). The guides include the StudySync path plus additional options for novel, grammar, and extended writing projects. Pick and choose what is right for your students easily with the curriculum that is mapped for you!
